What workouts you should be doing to improve at Volleyball.

Your off 4 days from practice is a perfect opportunity to get a workout in as your athleticism is just as important as technique. It is good to have to workouts of power and agility and intertwine the two. Your power lift should consist of heavy plyometrics weightlifting and light isometrics. You should aim to use heavy weight and lower reps. Your agility workout should consist of plyometrics and side to side front to back shuffling.

The most important thing while working out is as explosive as possible as this will transfer over to how you play. Breathing out as you do your reps is a good way to use maximum effort. Increasing your vertical jump and having a faster arm swing is the goal.
