How you can help your body stay healthy with all your hard work.

It’s good to eat lots of carbohydrates the night before practice. Carbs give you a lot of energy, but they sit in your stomach for a while so it’s important to not eat a lot of it the day of practice. You should always have three meals a day that should be balanced with proteins carbs and vitamins. A very important part in a volleyball players success is sleep. You should always get 9 hours of sleep each day as it keeps you energized for your practice and workouts.

With all this training it can be hard for your body to stay healthy. It is important that you have a sports therapist you see often to make sure your body can keep up with this work. Injuries are very common in volleyball so it’s important you prepare your body. The food you consume is very important as it gives you the energy to explosive all the time.
